Thomas Flinn - PAX 1776 20 TPI Dovetail Saws for Ripping - Open Walnut Handle
The Pax 1776 Dovetail Saw is Thomas Flinn’s finest dovetail saw, a must-have for woodworking enthusiasts who appreciate the very best tools. Made with a heavily folded brass back, roll-marked with "Pax 1776 Sheffield England," this saw celebrates the origins of Pax saws, crafted today to the same high standards established over two centuries ago. The folded brass back holds the blade under tension, ensuring superior rigidity and balance. The weight of the brass back also enhances the saw's fine cutting ability.
Its traditional open handle, made from hand-finished Walnut, features solid brass split nuts and a medallion. The satin finish offers optimal comfort and grip, making it both a beautiful and highly functional saw. Each saw is hand-sharpened and tested before dispatch, ensuring top performance right out of the box. These saws can also be re-sharpened, making them a valuable addition to any woodworker's collection.
These saws come with 20 TPI in with either a 10" or 12" blade and are filed for ripping.
