12 Piece MFT Table 20mm Dog Hole Workbench Vertical and 4” Reach Horizontal Holddown Clamp Kit

Note: these clamps work in 20mm dog holes and are too large to fit in 3/4" dog holes. 

This clamp kit is the ultimate compliment to any MFT table or workbench featuring 20mm dog holes. It will improve the quality and safety of your work. The kit contains all the clamps needed to secure nearly any shape or size workpiece to your bench for routing, drilling, sawing, sanding, planing, gluing, assembly, or any other operation. The kit includes two quick-action horizontal clamps, two quick-grip vertical clamps, and two bench dogs.

Horizontal Clamps: These clamps are sized to fit perfectly into any 20mm dog hole and provide strong lateral clamping forces against your workpiece. They operate via a cam action lever that enables quick, one-handed operation. They can generate up to 154 pounds or 70 kilograms of lateral force, more than enough to securely grip any size or shape workpiece. The non-marring rubber clamp pads protect your work and prevent slipping. The low-profile design ensures the clamps will not interfere with your material and will create an unobstructed work surface. They can be used by dropping into any 20mm dog hole or secured to your bench with the provided knobs. Securing the horizontal clamps and bench dogs tightly to your bench using the knobs significantly reduces the likelihood of your workpiece "lifting," especially when the clamp plunger approaches the end of its travel.

Vertical Clamps: These clamps also slip into any 20mm dog hole and provide strong downward clamping forces, pressing the work tightly against your bench to prevent lifting or sliding. They can be used by dropping into any 20mm dog hole or secured in place using the included locking knobs. The long quick-grip lever, combined with a quick-release trigger, allows for fast one-handed clamping and releasing of parts. They can generate up to 132 pounds of downward force, more than sufficient to keep work secured to your bench. The rubber non-marring clamp jaws pivot to secure irregularly shaped parts and protect your work.
