Narex carbide insert lathe tools eliminate the learning curve in woodturning, making it easier and quicker to master. Unlike traditional turning tools that require learning and maintaining complex angles and motions, these tools are designed for simplicity. The tool bar rests flat on the tool rest, level with the floor, and can be plunged straight in or swept side to side to remove material. They are versatile, capable of turning spindles, bowls, platters, vessels, and more.

Each tool is equipped with a high-quality tungsten carbide tip, which maintains a sharp edge longer than traditional steel tools. This results in smoother finishes, more precise work, and eliminates the need for sharpening. When the tips become dull, they can be rotated to expose a sharp edge and replaced when all sides are worn out.

This tool comes equiupped with a Square Cutter that removes large amounts of material quickly and is suitable for finishing cuts on outside curves and making square shoulder cuts. Fitted with a 0.600” square cutter.
