Thomas Flinn is the oldest remaining traditional hand saw maker in Sheffield, England. Thomas Flinn produces an extensive range of saws under famous traditional brands like Pax, Lynx, William Greaves and Dorchester. Thomas Flinn is known for making reasonably-priced, professional-quality western-style hand saws. This saw is made from world-renowned Sheffield allow spring steel. The saw plate is taper-ground hand saw blades are ground and progressively thinner from the teeth to the back of the saw. This greatly reduced binding in the cuts. It comes with a handle made from stained European Beech and has brass button screws. The handle is attractive and comfortable in use. The 22" blade has 10 TPI and is filed for crosscutting cutting. This saw can be resharpened.
