Thomas Flinn Pax 10" Gent Dovetail Saw

This Pax 10" “Gentleman’s” Dovetail Saw is the perfect saw for detailed work. It is made by Thomas Flinn of Sheffield, England, the last traditional saw and plane maker in the UK. Back is rolled solid brass. The folded brass back means the blade is held under tension offering excellent rigidity and balance. Saw plate is 0.022" thick with just 0.003" set per side for a smooth and controlled cut. It is made from high carbon alloy steel. The handle is made from Walnut. Blade depth is 1-5/8" with 20 TPI as standard.
