RAMIA is a small, family-run, Czech-based company with roots in workbench manufacturing dating back to the first half of the 20th century. Established in 2006, RAMIA continues this tradition by producing classic workbenches while also introducing modern joiner's benches for both professional and home workshops.

The Ramia Diamond 1500 Workbench delivers nearly all the same great features as the larger Diamond 1800 but in a more compact design, being about 1 foot shorter. This bench is a great choice for smaller workspaces. This versatile workbench includes two vises with cast housings, precision lead screws, and dual steel rods for smooth, parallel movement along the benchtop. You can mount the vises in one of four positions, accommodating both right- and left-handed users or allowing a vise on each end of the bench. Predrilled holes make installation straightforward and hassle-free. Vises open to more than 5”.

The solid beech benchtop features two rows of 3/4" bench dog holes (32 in total), providing flexibility for clamping tasks no matter where the vises are installed. Additionally, bench dog holes are integrated into the base, allowing for vertical clamping when used with the vise. A robust trestle supports heavy loads, dampens vibration, and resists racking when using hand or power tools or when repositioning the bench around the shop. The trestle comes flat packed and is easy to assemble with dowels, screws and bolts. The full-length tool tray keeps your tools organized and accessible while staying out of the workspace. Additionally, the built-in shelf offers convenient storage for supplies, lumber, or tools. You can even adjust the height of the lower rails on the trestle to customize the shelf storage further. The bench is finished with a non-film, non-slick finish that protects the bench and is easy to restore.

This combination package maximizes workbench storage and functionality by incorporating a lower storage cabinet. The Hobby II Storage Cabinet (HB-II) fits securely on the trestle's lower rails and features a double-door compartment with an internal shelf, along with a set of four matching drawers for organized, easily accessible storage. 

The PROFI Workbench Accessory Kit (UN-SET-PRO) adds even more versatility, including vertical holdfast clamps and sets of aluminum and cork vise clamping pads that protect the vise faces and delicate materials from damage during use. For metalworking tasks, the kit also includes a steel anvil plate with an integrated bench dog, allowing you to work metal without risking harm to the benchtop.

The bench is delivered flat-packed with detailed assembly instructions for convenient setup.

Hobbyist Set of Accessories:

Cork protectors are ideal accessories for protecting both the vice and wooden workpieces, especially when working with delicate or soft materials prone to scratching.

Aluminum protectors safeguard the vice during work with harder materials that might otherwise dent or mar the bench surface.

The clamps are compatible with all our workbenches featuring 3/4' round holes and those with large square bench dogs, providing quick and secure fastening of materials to the worktop.

Storage Cabinet Hobby-II

This optional storage cupboard is designed to fit all Hobby Series workbenches, providing valuable extra storage space in your workshop. The design features four drawers on one side and a full-height cupboard on the other, allowing you to keep frequently used tools within easy reach while storing other tools and accessories in the cupboard, protected from dust and shavings.

Constructed from high-quality laminated chipboard that is stabilized to resist swelling and warping, this storage unit is both strong and sturdy, enhancing the rigidity and appearance of your workbench. The enclosed back ensures that stored tools remain secure and do not fall behind the bench if bumped, while the cupboard doors feature generously sized, easy-to-grip handles.

This storage cupboard is the perfect addition to your workbench and is shipped disassembled for easy transport.
