Thomas Flinn is known for making reasonably-priced, professional-quality western-style hand saws. This saw is made from world-renowned Sheffield allow spring steel. The saw plate is held straight and true by a thick and solid brass spine. It comes with a handle made from stained European Beech and has brass button screws. The handle is attractive and comfortable in use. The 12" blade has a maximum depth of cut of 3-1/8". It has 15 TPI and is filed for rip cutting, making it perfect for cutting tenon shoulders. This saw can be re-sharpened.
