This precision 2 piece combination square is perfect for project/part layout, machine set-up, determining level/plumb, or as a depth, height, or marking gauge. This type of square is widely used by metal and woodworkers alike.

It is manufactured in accordance with the derived tolerances from the FEDERAL SPECIFICATION NO. GGG-S-656c and guaranteed to be square to within 0.004" (four thousandths of an inch) over the length of the blade.

Blade: Contains a hardened and tempered no-glare satin chrome finished stainless steel blade. Blade markings are precision photo etched and then black filled for easy readability. A 24” square blade is available separately. Length accuracy guaranteed to be within +/- .2 mm as per EEC Class-1 specifications.

Square head: Precision machined cast iron head with a cobalt blue baked-on finish and contains an integrated spirit level and hardened steel scribe. Squareness Accuracy: +/- 0.004" per 12"

Comes packages in plastic case with foam cut outs.

    Solid, good value square
    As advertised, this square is dead-on accurate. The head is well made and has a nice heft to it. The ruler is easy to read. What else could you want in a square?
