Kunz #75 Bull Nose Plane

by Kunz
SKU 12.75

This German-made Kunz Bull Nose Plane is patterned after the long-discontinued Stanley 75. This plane has a bull nose rebate plane with open sides and a flush cutting iron. Applications include the ability to trim rabbets on window stools, shave jamb stops on doors and align flats on scarf joints. The compact design makes it ideal for site working. It fits in a tool pouch so you don’t have to climb down the ladder or make another trip to the saw. Body is made from fine grey-cast stress-annealed iron and coated with Kunz’s distinctive green epoxy resin.  The iron is made of high carbon German steel and hardened to 62 Rockwell C. The blade has been machined sharpened to 25 degrees. Honing is recommended before use for optimal performance.
