Blades are made from highly allowed Cr-Mn steel and heat treated to HRc 55. Chisel handles are European Beech with an octagonal cross section. Set come in a wooden presentation box. As with all fine carving tools, these will need final honing to fully refine the edges before use. This chisel set is an excellent value for good quality tools and will make the perfect starter carving set or addition to an existing set.
